Dr. Valery Lacroix is Chief Engineer at Tractebel (ENGIE) and Key Expert in Fracture Mechanics for ENGIE group. He has 20 years of experience in Fracture Mechanics and 12 years of experience in Nuclear Industry. He is active member of the ASME Working Groups on Flaw Evaluation, Flaw Evaluation Reference Curves and ASME Code & Standards Technical Committee. He is author of around 45 scientific papers and of several ASME Code Cases.
He has received his MSc in Civil Engineering from the Brussels University and he has received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the Yokohama National University.
