Ralph Döring

Dr. Ralph Döring is currently a Specialist for Structural Integrity at the Mechanical Engineering Section of ENSI (Nuclear regulatory body in Switzerland), and is the Chairman (member since 2015) of the ASME German International Working Group Section XI. He initially studied Nuclear and Mechanical Engineering, before becoming a Research Associate at Universities of Jena & Weimar (Germany). He was previously a Specialist for Structural Integrity at IAMT mbH, Plauen (Engineering Service Provider), during which he completed his PhD on “cyclic metal plasticity & fracture mechanics-based fatigue modelling” at Darmstadt Technical University.
