Dr. Adrien Guery

Dr Adrien Guery is currently a Research Engineer and Research Project Leader at EDF R&D, Materials and Mechanic of Components department. He is In charge of an EDF R&D project related to a multi-scale simulation of the effect of irradiation and microstructural heterogeneities on the mechanical behaviour of components (RVP, Internals, cast duplex components of PWR). He was previously a Research Engineer at EDF R&D, Materials and Mechanic of Components department – Lead of experimental and numerical studies related to the fracture toughness (RPV of PWR) and to high temperatures behaviour (GEN IV).

His education includes Joint Master of graduate management and engineering school at Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Saint-Etienne – Structure and Materials Mechanics (2008 – 2011). His PhD (2011-2014) was at Ecole Normale Supérieure of Cachan and with EDF R&D and was on the topic of “Identification of micro-mechanic behaviour of austenitic stainless steel”.
